Job Description

We are looking for aCatalogue & eCommerce Search Optimization Specialistto play a key role in improving product discoverability and driving online sales growth.

In this strategic role, you will directly contribute to delivering a seamless, intuitive, and high-performing customer experience by optimizing both product data quality and search engine effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze search behavior, queries, and user feedback to optimize search engine performance.

  • Improve result relevance (algorithms, product ranking, filters, and facets).

  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement advanced features (autocomplete, synonyms, typo tolerance, etc.).

  • Enhance the quality, consistency, and completeness of product data (attributes, descriptions, categorization).

  • Establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure catalogue integrity.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), measure the impact of optimizations, and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

We are seeking an analytical, collaborative, and results-driven professional with:

  • A relevant university or college degree, along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing, eCommerce, or eCommerce optimization.

  • Experience with a PIM (Product Information Management) system.

  • Knowledge of Adobe products (an asset).

  • Experience in a multi-site retail environment with an eBusiness platform (an asset).

  • Excellent proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written. In this role, you will regularly collaborate with internal partners across Canada.
