One of the sunniest regions in BC’s Lower Mainland, Delta embraces three unique communities – Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen. The City of Delta is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and share in our commitment to lead the way in public service excellence.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our Delta Fitness Team in the areas of Group Fitness, Dance Fitness, Yoga, and Pilates.

Candidates must possess a minimum of:

  • One of the following: current BCRPA, Canfitpro, ACE, CSEP, CFES, ACSM or NSCA certifications
  • Current First Aid and CPR are required.
  • Preference will be given to those with 12 months or greater related experience.

In addition to a valid group fitness certification from one of the above, we are seeking those with experience and specialty certifications in the following areas:

Group Fitness:

  • Certification in Older Adult, Osteofit, Weight Training, Indoor Cycling, Fitness Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Sport Conditioning, Suspension Training and or TRX Training.

Dance Fitness:

  • Zumba Fitness, Zumba Gold.

Mind & Body Fitness:

  • For Yoga = Trained/ Certified by YogaFit or another Yoga Alliance accredited course provider; BCRPA Yoga Fitness Registration.
  • For Pilates= Stott Pilates Mat or BCRPA Pilates registration.

Candidates must be available to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

The City of Delta provides a competitive salary of $35.00 - $42.00 per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays and benefits.
