Company Description Acupoint Wellness Centre is a multi-disciplinary boutique alternative health clinic located in downtown Vancouver, BC. The clinic offers acupuncture treatments for a variety of conditions, massage therapy services, and holistic nutritional counseling. Role Description The Osteopath will provide client-centered osteopathic assessments and treatments in an on-site clinical setting in Vancouver, BC. This contract role involves evaluating musculoskeletal and related health concerns, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering hands-on osteopathic manipulative care. The Osteopath will collaborate with acupuncturists, massage therapists, and holistic nutrition professionals to support integrated treatment approaches. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, educating clients on self-care and rehabilitation exercises, and adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in Osteopathy and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
Minimum 5 years experience
5 years post-secondary education or Master's degree Solid foundation in Medicine, with the ability to integrate osteopathic principles into clinical decision-making. Experience in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques to support recovery and functional improvement.
Provide Patients with Exercise Programs for Rehabilitation
Current licensure or registration as an Osteopath (or equivalent) in British Columbia, and eligibility to practice in a clinical setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory client care. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and manage a varied caseload. Prior experience in an alternative or integrative health clinic is an asset. CPR/First Aid certification and ongoing commitment to continuing professional education are preferred.
