We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to support our teams at our Chatham and Ridgetown Production locations.
What You Will Do
- Maintain site electrical systems according to regulations, design specifications, site safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules
- 24V DC to 600V AC
- IR panel and TX inspections
- lighting
- Maintain, Troubleshoot and Repair automated process equipment, and controls systems
- Industrial Control Panels
- Motor Control Panels
- PLC’s, I/O racks and associated field mounted input / output devices
- Motors, Frequency Drives, pumps, metering and scaling equipment
- Maintain, Test and repair IT infrastructure
- Manage switches, cabling, site security systems including building security and fire safety systems
- Backup power supply systems for IT networks
- Work with a mechanical team to repair and install process equipment
- Grain handling and cleaning equipment
- Automated packaging equipment, such as bagging, bulk packaging and palletizing systems
- Chemical application systems
- Optical sorting equipment
- Crop drying equipment
- Maintain and update records
- Electronic logbook
- Computerized maintenance management system
- Electrical drawings, panel schedules and schematics
- Other duties
- Participate in delivering and updating site electrical safety program
- Working at heights including aerial work platforms
- Industrial lift truck
- Confined space
- CPR / First Aid
- Hours of Operation
- Shift work
- Days / Afternoons / Midnights
- Seasonal overtime including weekends
- On call coverage for weekends and shift coverage
- Able to work at both Chatham and Ridgetown Production Locations
Education
- You have your High School Diploma or GED
What Skills You Need
- You possess two (2) years of education and/or experience in Maintenance or related field (e.g., HVAC, Millwright, Welding, Pneumatic Controls, Hydraulics, etc.)
- You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting
- You are comfortable with technology and possess a good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required.
- You have high diligence, can multitask, maintain an organized workplace and excellent critical thinking skills.
- You have a valid US Driver’s License
- You value working as a team, are initiative-taking, communicate concerns, and are accepting of change.
- You possess good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

What Makes You Stand Out
- Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree within the Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field
- Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
- Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience).
