Position Description:
Our client, a major financial institution, is undergoing a large-scale cloud migration as part of its digital transformation, moving a significant portion of its IT environments to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to play a key role in this migration: guiding architecture teams, designing secure and high-performing cloud solutions, and ensuring a smooth, efficient transition to AWS.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure AWS architectures aligned with migration objectives.

Collaborate closely with existing architects to support the migration process and ensure architectural consistency.

Define, optimize, and maintain AWS foundations and multi-account environments.

Ensure compliance, security, and governance of all migrated solutions.
-
Contribute to the planning, execution, and validation of application and service migrations to AWS, mitigating risks and minimizing downtime.
Must-have Skills
-
Advanced AWS expertise: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc.

Strong knowledge of AWS security and governance best practices.

Proven experience with Active Directory: integration with AWS (AWS Directory Service, Single Sign-On, etc.).

Solid understanding of hybrid environments and migration challenges.

Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
Assets
-
AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification (or equivalent).
-
Hands-on experience with large-scale cloud migration projects.

Knowledge of financial or regulated environments.
