Duties
Under the supervision of the Legislative Officer- City Clerk, the Legislation and Policy Analyst Summer Student will be responsible for research and analyzing complex organizational, regulatory and legal/policy issues related to municipal governance and the preparation of briefing notes/reports on a broad range of topics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year post-secondary education.
- Enrolled or returning to full-time students Fall 2026.
- Post-secondary education would be considered an asset in one of the following areas: Law, Public Policy, Public Administration, or Political Science.
- Familiarity with legislative processes, and competency in identifying policy solutions.
