About Riversol
Riversol is a leading direct-to-consumer skincare brand. Founded by a visionary dermatologist in Vancouver, Canada, the brand is built on 3 strong and distinctive pillars:
Dermatology-lead innovation: all our products and principles are guided by decades of science and clinical experience. We create every product for all skin types, but with sensitive skin in mind. Powered by nature: all our products use natural ingredients, especially Hinokitiol, a powerful and natural antioxidant found in the Pacific Red Cedar, which has always been at the center of most formulations. Made in Canada: for over 15 years, we have been helping Canadian consumers feel better about their skin. Our teams are still based in Vancouver, where we formulate and make all our products.
About the Role
Riversol is looking for a data-driven Performance Marketing Specialist who thrives at the intersection of paid media strategy, creative experimentation, and growth. In this role, you’ll co-own the strategy and lead execution, optimization, and scaling of high-performing campaigns across Meta and Google primarily. You’ll use data to uncover what’s working, turn creative insights into better ads, and continuously improve lead generation, revenue, ROAS, CAC, and CPL. This role is ideal for someone who understands that creativity is a performance lever, not just a brand asset - and knows how to analyze, test, and iterate toward results. If you get as excited about winning ad creatives as you do about ROAS, if you’re curious and want to learn and grow, if you like working on a small and smart team, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
Paid Media & Growth Strategy
Own campaign strategy, setup, management, and optimization primarily across Meta and Google. Run ad hoc experiments on other platforms when opportunities make business sense. Scale lead generation and revenue through full-funnel acquisition campaigns. Test and optimize audiences, bidding models, placements, campaign structures, and funnel strategies. Use performance data to identify opportunities for profitable growth. Partner with external agencies where and when necessary.
Creative Development & Analysis
Analyze ad performance at the creative level, identifying winning hooks, formats, messaging angles, and visual patterns. Collaborate with designers, video editors, and content creators to produce conversion-focused ad creative. Develop creative briefs based on campaign insights and performance trends. QA creative assets before launch to ensure alignment with testing goals, platform best practices, and brand standards. Build and manage creative testing frameworks across messaging, formats, UGC, video cuts, static, and landing page concepts.
Optimization & Reporting
Run A/B tests and multivariate experiments across ad copy, creative, landing pages, audiences, and campaign structures. Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-informed decisions to improve ROAS, CAC, CPL, and conversion rates. Build weekly and monthly reporting dashboards with clear takeaways, insights, and recommended next steps. Track performance across platform data, analytics tools, and internal business metrics.
Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to align paid media strategy with business goals. Influence landing page strategy, customer journeys, and conversion rate optimization opportunities. Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, creative best practices, and emerging media channels. Share insights that help shape broader marketing, creative, and growth strategies.
What You Bring
Must-Haves
4+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, or media buying. Proven experience managing large-scale paid campaigns with measurable outcomes. Strong analytical skills and comfort working with tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms. A data-backed creative mindset, with the ability to assess ad performance and develop new creative testing ideas. Experience briefing and collaborating with design, video, or content teams on performance creative. Familiarity with conversion-focused design, user psychology, landing pages, and funnel optimization. Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
