Responsibilities The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Inventory Reconciliation: Conduct comprehensive inventory reconciliation, including bailment inventory, negative balances, select fit transactions, and bulk materials (M-stock), performing audits of off-site warehouses and usage.
  • Inventory Adjustments: Manage all transactional adjustments, changes to inventory status, and inventory substitution adjustments.
  • Inventory Audits: Initiate and oversee inventory verification audits for inbound purchased materials.
  • Production Error Tracking: Monitor and track production entry errors to maintain accurate records.
  • Engineering Change Coordination: Act as the engineering change coordinator for Windsor Nano head machining.
  • Documentation & Record Management: Serve as the Accutrac document point person, owning and maintaining critical department records such as D.R.I.M., training matrices, and evacuation plans.
  • Audit Support: Provide essential support for both internal and external audits across all plants.
  • Meeting Participation: Actively support weekly cycle review and monthly inventory meetings.
  • Compliance Adherence: Strictly follow all established procedures and processes, ensuring full compliance with all job function requirements.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Be prepared for varying start times based on operational needs.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Education: College Diploma in logistics, business or accounting related field. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years experience in product control or part procurement.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in inventory and procurement systems or related software.

Preferred Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree in logistics, business or accounting related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with inventory reconciliation, conducting audits, and managing inventory adjustments.
  • Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, particularly with precision machining.
  • Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or specialized Inventory Management Systems (IMS).
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with document management systems (like Accutrac) and production tracking software.
