We are currently looking for a lifting equipment mechanic.
JOB DESCRIPTION
UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :
- Inspecting and verifying the operation of rental equipment to ensure proper functionality and prevent failures;
- Diagnosing and assessing mechanical issues;
- Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts, installations, or components using manual and mechanical tools;
- Performing repairs on Skytrak, aerial lifts, and scissor lifts;
- Testing repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with manufacturer standards;
- Performing routine maintenance and ensuring the upkeep of accessories and work tools;
- Conducting preventive maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations;
- Carrying out annual inspections as required.
GENERAL SKILLS
YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :
- You hold a DEP in heavy equipment mechanics;
- You have extensive knowledge in fuel systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems;
- You have strong verbal communication skills in both French and English;
- You are comfortable using computer systems;
- You are detail-oriented, autonomous, and highly disciplined;
- You can work under pressure and enjoy teamwork;
- You follow safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
