A Guest Experience Agent is responsible for handling room reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring accurate booking information. This role is essential in maximizing room revenue while delivering excellent customer service before the guest arrives.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada - can provide SIN documentation
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations or front office preferred
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of hotel booking systems (PMS, CRS, OTA platforms)
  • Sales-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Will have the expectation to cover Front Desk shift when required.
  • Must be able to work different shift Morning and Evening including working on weekends and public holidays

Job duties

  • Process room reservations via phone, email, website, or travel agents
  • Enter accurate guest information into the Property Management System (PMS)
  • Modify, cancel, or update bookings as requested
  • Verify payment methods and billing information
  • Monitor room availability and booking status
  • Provide detailed information about room types, rates, packages, and promotions
  • Answer inquiries about hotel facilities, policies, and local attractions
  • Handle special requests (extra bed, airport pickup, special occasions)
  • Respond to guest emails and online messages promptly
  • Promote upselling opportunities (room upgrades, packages, add-ons)
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Ensure compliance with rate strategies and revenue management policies
  • Coordinate with Sales and Front Office teams
  • Prepare daily reservation reports
  • Maintain reservation files and documentation
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Handle group reservations when assigned
