JOB DESCRIPTION
$3000 Sign on Bonus. Get Paid On Time. Every Time. This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time. Running primarily in British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and California with an Average of 2,500 miles per week
- Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year
- Additional work might be available upon request
- Regional work will be required
- Must be able to haul containers to and from the rail yards
- Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
Candidate Profile:
- Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
- Must be U.S. qualified
- Must be Fast card eligible
- Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
- Must have a minimum of 6 months B.C. Mountain experience
- Must be able to haul CP rail containers
- Must have reefer experience
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
