Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00/ hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a labor planning tool to support daily and weekly scheduling across all distribution center teams.
- Analyze demand forecasts to determine optimal staffing levels by department and shift.
- Identify hiring needs based on business changes, peak volumes, and turnover trends.
- Schedule onboarding sessions and coordinate with Health & Safety, onboarding, and training teams.
- Contribute to labor budgeting and forecasting to optimize costs and resource allocation.
- Support labor planning around tradeshows and other peak volume events.
- Monitor attendance and provide regular updates to distribution center leaders for follow-up actions.
- Report weekly and monthly on sick days, vacation, turnover, and overtime as a percentage of total hours.
- Assist with payroll reconciliation and resolve exceptions regularly.
- Track vacation and sick days to ensure adequate coverage using flex team members.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to communicate staffing plans and resolve issues.
- Review functional KPIs and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Track scanning hours versus scheduled hours to improve productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Goals and Objectives
- Ensure daily labor coverage meets operational SLAs.
- Build and maintain a labor planning tool to reduce costs and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with finance and distribution center teams to develop the annual labor budget.
- Provide proactive support to distribution center leaders during hiring cycles.
Ideal Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Experience with workforce planning tools, data analysis software, and scheduling systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Effective planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and comfortable working with numbers.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support various operational needs.
