You will help establish and uphold governance and compliance standards, share best practices, and provide training and support for Suncor's enterprise automation platforms and solutions.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, implement scalable automation, and ensure secure integration across platforms including Azure and SAP. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop), and platform administration, along with strong communication skills and a background in stakeholder engagement. Experience with Azure Functions and SAP products is a strong asset.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Low Code Automation Tools, specifically Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud and Power Automate Desktop)
  • 5+ years Experience administering Power Platform
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience managing business stakeholders and eliciting requirements
  • Configure and troubleshoot root cause issues in solutions and platforms
  • Coordinate and facilitate technical workshops with stakeholders and support teams
  • Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Login Apps would be an asset
  • Experience with SAP BTP Build automation and SAP products (Fiori, Ariba, Fieldglass, Signavio) would be an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand process requirements.
  • Support development and implementation of automation solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track the performance and impact of automated processes, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Administer Microsoft Power Platform using Microsoft best practices and controls
  • Collaborate and support cyber and security rules cross-platform (CyberArk, Azure, Power Platform)

Location and Key Details:

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
