We are seeking a Director, Sales Strategy to join our team. This role is accountable for defining where and how we grow to achieve business goals, by owing go-to-market strategy, marketing, campaign strategy, base management and growth planning. This role provides strategic direction, analytical insight and prioritization framework that guides Sales, Marketing execution and Enablement activities across the assigned sales segments. The Director Strategy focuses on what markets to pursue, which customers to prioritize, how to grow the base, and determine which campaigns and initiatives will be the most effective to achieve and or exceed strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Own the end to end commercial and growth strategy across multiple sales channels
  • Define where to play and how to win by segment, geography and products
  • Translate business goals and objectives into clear strategic priorities and initiatives
  • Lead annual and multi-year strategic planning cycles
  • Own marketing strategy and campaign planning across identified sales channels
  • Define key approaches including target market and segments, campaign objectives and success metrics
  • Integrate campaign roadmaps across acquisition, retention and expansion while partnering with key stakeholders to ensure that campaign execution align to established priorities
  • Own base management strategy and execution for existing customers including retention, churn management, contract renewal, upsell and cross-sell growth, product adoption and lifecycle acceleration
  • Lead execution of lifecycle based, segment as well as market and customer trigger driven based campaigns
  • Translate business intelligence into strategic recommendations for go to market adjustments
  • Design and execute strategic sales plays in collaboration with Sales leaders and Enablement and Execution team
  • Deliver executive ready insights and recommendation

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, commercial planning, marketing or growth roles
  • Proven experience owning base management and lifecycle campaigns
  • Experience as a master collaborator working across Sales, Marketing, Business Intelligence and Customer teams in B2B and B2C environments
  • Strong background in data driven decision making
  • Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing and base growth models
  • Ability to balance strategy with selective execution
  • Strategic, analytical rigor and comfortable operating with accountability for outcomes
  • Strong executive communication and influence skills
  • Structured, decisive, hands-on operator who acts as a trusted advisor
