Intern - Human Resources Mississauga, ON / Full-time (Hybrid) Pay rate $20.90 - $24.20 Your responsibilities The Human Resources Intern supports the Human Resources department in a coordinator capacity while participating in a variety of HR functions and special projects, while gaining practical experience related to their studies.
- Recruiting: Assists with recruiting activities
- Leave Management: Assist with Leave Management (Files claims online and coordinates initial care, etc.)
- Training: Assists with training activities (coordinate trainings, send communications, answer general inquiries etc.)
- Drafts and sends out offer letters, termination letters, and other employee correspondence
- Conducts New Hire Survey, and New Employee Follow-Up Survey and compiles/reviews data and identifies trends
- Participates in special projects as assigned
- Performs other duties as needed
Your Profile
- High-School Diploma – Required
- Four-Year College (Business Administration) – Required
- 0-2 Years experience (Human Resources) - Required
- Excellent interpersonal, computer and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, work in a fast-paced team environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Knowledge Microsoft Office skills
- Travel Percentage – 10%
