Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and their families.

Required Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care or retirement setting is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
