Human Resources Technician – Baie-Sainte-Anne

Reporting to the HR Director, the Human Resources Technician provides support to the local HR operations at the Baie-Sainte-Anne and Bay du Vin sites. Acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers on various HR-related matters, the technician ensures compliance with internal policies and processes.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Actively participate in the staffing process, including application screening, interviews, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of employee files (hiring, changes, departures).
  • Assist in updating internal policies and ensure proper application across the organization.
  • Support activities related to training management, occupational health and safety, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Compile and maintain HR data for various reports, audits, or compliance requirements.
  • Assist the HR team in coordinating Quality of Life surveys and follow-up actions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, personal files, and general HR questions.
  • Help manage accommodation and logistics for out-of-province employees.
  • Contribute to the planning and organization of HR-related activities and internal events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role; a combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
  • This role is primarily on-site, with the possibility of occasional remote work.
