​Req ID: 216808Location: Provincial Zone, All Locations  Department: CANC Psychosocial Onc & Palliative CareType of Employment: Permanent Hourly FT (100%) x 1 Union: MGMT/NON-Union Management/Non Union PositionPosting Closing Date: 9-Jul-26About the Opportunity The Manager, Provincial Psychosocial Oncology Program, Palliative and Spiritual Care (Oncology) will lead the development of a Provincial Psychosocial Oncology Program within the NSCCP and will serve as the oncology liaison to the palliative and spiritual care portfolios.  The Manager works in a co-leadership role with a clinical co-lead. The Manager develops, implements, manages and evaluates a provincial program to ensure equitable and appropriate access of cancer patients and families to psychosocial, palliative and spiritual care services and supports according to evidence-informed guidelines and policies developed by Cancer Site Teams and the Provincial Psychosocial Oncology Program in Nova Scotia. The Manager assists with knowledge development and translation, ensures that data and systems are in place to support appropriate utilization and effective stewardship of psychosocial, palliative and spiritual care resources for cancer patients and families.  The Manager collaborates with other portfolios with Nova Scotia Health, IWK and with community partners as appropriate in order to deliver a quality, sustainable program.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

Bachelor degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or other health related discipline Master's degree in the area of Nursing, Administration, Research, Social Work, Psychology or other health related discipline Registration or licensure in the appropriate provincial licensing/registration organization Minimum of 5 years' experience in an oncology setting Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management/supervisory role A Registered Nurse requires CNA certification in Oncology and/or Hospice Palliative Care Eligible for membership in provincial, national or international associations such as CAPO, MASCC, AOPOS, NSHPCA, CHPCA or other related professional organizations. Experience in cancer care service delivery and an understanding of the psychosocial impact of cancer on individuals and families Knowledge of the practice of psychosocial oncology, supportive care, palliative care and spiritual care and their integration with cancer care in tertiary and secondary care settings. Strong project management and community-based program development skills Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, team-building and communication skills Computer literacy as it relates to data analysis, budgeting, word processing and online communication tools. Competencies in other languages an asset; French preferred
