Title: Factory Operations Manager
Employment Status: Full time
Start Date: January 2023
Renumeration: $120,000 p.a.
Roles And Responsibilities
Responsible for leading and managing all production projects and general factory activities including safety management, general maintenance, machinery servicing and management, staff management and project reporting Optimising the site metrics consisting of Defect rates, Safety Metrics, Productivity and Cost Lead recruitment, development, and retention of employees onsite and ensure that business interests are managed within the production’s environment Develop and lead a collaborative, people centric site safety culture that focuses on the risks and employee safety and is consistent with the business’ safety initiative. Engage with sales, systems, and engineering staff to develop production plans and to develop and maintain overall production objectives including the entering and management of special orders, and preparation and reporting on lead times and general production performance reviews Maintain and administer accurate raw materials and finished goods inventory management systems and ensure physical stock counts are conducted quarterly and correctly reported Monitor production tools and machinery stock counts, ensuring that adequate tools, machinery accessories and essential production equipment are maintained and provided for ongoing smooth production operation
Required
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
Demonstrated capability to produce safety procedures and implement them History of managing projects in the past within related industries Budgeting and reporting skills to anticipate overhead costs and raw materials expenses Strong interpersonal skills Ability to plan to implement a safe and enjoyable work culture Experience engaging and managing teams
