#####Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a champion with management and leadership experience to join our Complex Care/Stuart Nechako Manor department.
The Manager, Complex Care is responsible for providing effective and efficient delivery of complex care clinical services in the Omineca service area. The Manager provides leadership in the planning, delivery and evaluation of programs that are consistent with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Northern Health and Omineca Health Services.
Starting salary will be approximately from $132,169 to $163,073 and will be based on education, training, experience, reporting structure and salaries of similar positions.
#####Qualifications

Bachelor’ degree in a relevant field plus five (5) to seven (7) years experience in a leadership position responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of operational and strategic plans;

Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
-
Knowledge of the operations of Residential Complex Care, Home Care Nursing, Home Support, Long Term Care Case Management, Independent Living, special care services, activity programs and adult day services, including an understanding of the interrelationships between the various professional/non-professional staff within the programs.

Knowledge of the operations of Preventative Health, Mental Health & Addiction, Rural Acute Care and Health Centres.

Knowledge of local and regional community health issues.
-
Ability to manage human, financial and material resources.
-
Ability to foster effective working relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
-
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
-
Ability to balance multiple activities and projects concurrently.

Established in July 2000, Northern Health provides quality health care services to the expanding communities in Melbourne's northern suburbs. In one of Melbourne's busiest growth corridors, Northern Health offers the community health care services where they are needed - close to where people live.
