About the role

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PART TIME Optical Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in optical services and retail sales, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. You will play a crucial role in helping patients select the right eyewear and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs and preferences. Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles. Conduct measurements for eyewear fittings, ensuring accuracy for optimal comfort and vision. Maintain an organized display of eyewear products and ensure inventory levels are adequate. Process orders for eyewear, including verifying prescriptions and managing laboratory work. Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to products or services.

Skills

Proficient in using optical equipment and tools. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care. Experience in retail sales, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Familiarity with optical products, including lenses and frames. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience in retail management is a plus. Knowledge of laboratory processes related to eyewear production is beneficial. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous.

Friday: 11am -7pm Saturday: 11am -7pm
