About the role
Job Purpose The Custodian will ensure in keeping the ECN buildings clean and in an orderly condition. The Custodian will perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass and notifying the Custodial Supervisor of any repairs required.
Education, Experience And Requirements
- Criminal Record Check and Intervention Check.
- Building Maintenance Worker Certification is an asset.
- WHMIS.
- Standard First Aid.
- Must be open and willing for recommended training if necessary for job requirements by attending training programs, workshops, information sessions, and conferences when available.
Working Conditions
- Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 830 – 430 (with a one-hour paid lunch break); flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Primary location: Enoch Cree Nation Band Office, with occasional travel to various sites.
- Physical fitness required (ability to walk, climb stairs, lift up to 50 lbs, etc.).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Must sign and adhere to the Enoch Cree Nation Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
