HR Data Analyst - 6 Month Contract
How does the role impact the organization?
As an HR Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming how our HR team uses data. You’ll build powerful dashboards and tools using Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Platform to drive strategic decisions and streamline operations. If you're analytical, solution-oriented, and fluent in Microsoft 365 and HR systems, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Understand and document HR data requirement processes and develop data solutions with current tools.
- Explore alternative solutions of automated workflows with the collaboration of the IT teams
- Building scalable data infrastructure that supports strategic HR and talent initiatives
- Build and maintain HR dashboards in Power BI and/or Smartsheet to track key metrics such as retention, compensation trends, and DEI initiatives
- Understand, apply and educate the HR team on basic usage of data processing and analytic tools
- Design advanced tools for time management, headcount planning, and compliance reporting
- Integrate data across systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility for HR and leadership teams
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices;
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns and
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics;

What do we expect from you?
To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in HR analytics or data solution development
- Proven ability to build tools and workflows in Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, Dataverse,
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data structures
- Experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
- French proficiency is an asset

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $85,000-95,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
