Tasks
- Establish and implement ACA’s strategic priorities and long-term vision.
- Build and lead a high-performing executive team aligned with ACA’s mission.
- Champion system-level change, clinical integration, and innovation in acute care delivery.
- Lead the organizational design, operational structures, and clinical frameworks of ACA.
- Engage and partner with stakeholders including government ministries, clinicians, health partners, and Albertans.
- Ensure compliance, fiscal accountability, and public transparency.
- Serve as ACA’s public voice and principal representative across health, political, and public forums.
Requirements
- Executive leadership experience (CEO or equivalent) in healthcare, public sector, or system transformation contexts.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
- Deep understanding of healthcare governance, fiscal management, and public service delivery.
- Proven ability to manage strategic change and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Master's degree in Health Administration, Public Policy, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with Canadian healthcare systems; Alberta health system familiarity is an asset.
- International experience or cross-jurisdictional leadership is welcomed.
