ABOUT OUR OPERATION

The objective of Sanajiksanut is to increase Inuit workforce in all of AEM’s Nunavut operations by contributing to the development of skills and competencies of the Inuit population in the Kivalliq region. The Sanajiksanut Process is composed of 4 steps: Employment Information Session, Online Application, Pre-employment Training, and Employment. In completing these stages of the Sanajiksanut Process, applicants will better prepare themselves for future employment with AEM or one of its contractors.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

• Check-in and check-out for employees;

• Plane seats and room assignment;

• Print reports and keep tracking tools updated;

• Communicate changes in a timely manner to housekeeping leader;

• Manage the room allocation;

• Address guest complaints and provide high quality customer service;

• Manage ground transportation;

• Perform rooms and main camp inspections and take the corrective actions required;

• Audits on employees’ work cards and regulatory wearing of PPE;

• Communicate to guest any transportation information;

• Provide support to the Camp Services Agents and the Contractor administrative assistants if required;

• Any other administrative tasks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 3 years of experiences in a similar role or in administration duties is considered as an asset;

• Excellent communication skills and a professional communications etiquette (oral and written);

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional manner;

• Excellent knowledge of the technology usage of telephone and computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, FLO and JDE);

• Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision;

• Experience working in a multicultural environment;

• Ability to work in a team; -Position reserved for Inuit Beneficiary candidates.
