About the role

Community & Customer Experience Coordinator Location: Vancouver, Toronto, or LA preferred

Our Brand Team is seeking a Community Coordinator to nurture and grow the Blume community through all customer touch points as the face, voice, and heart of the brand. In collaboration with our Community & Partnerships Manager, you will provide an elevated online and in-person brand experience that's meaningful, memorable, and amplifies Blume's values and mission, creating brand fans everywhere you show up.

Working closely with our Marketing and Operations teams, you’ll be our customer’s first response for all Q&As and you’ll have a strong pulse on feedback to provide actionable insights to advocate for our community and provide the resources, support, and guidance they need for a memorable experience with our brand and products. You will also get the chance to be a part of planning and executing fun partnership events.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Customer Success (80%)

Respond to all incoming customer support inquiries through email, live chat, Amazon, and reviews, maintaining a 48 business hour response time SLA Share feedback and insights cross-functionally to strategize relevant and meaningful resolutions Liaise between customers and cross-functional team to track orders, shipments, and returns and resolve inquiries positively and quickly Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience Find opportunities to connect with and celebrate our community through surprise-and-delight moments, personalized outreach, and memorable IRL experiences Maintain and update our customer-facing knowledge databases across website FAQs, chatbot, and email responses Conduct monthly reports to track returns, QA reports, and customer feedback Additional administrative support and management as needed, including sample order set-up, coordinating shipments, or courier bookings

Support Community Events & Partnerships (20%)

Collaborate with Community & Partnerships Manager to plan and execute partnership events and brand activations Attend local events to represent Blume and sample/sell our products at markets, in-store demos, and trade shows Work closely with local partners (fitness studios, retailers, etc.) to organize and execute always-on active sampling programs Visit Blume retailers in your area to connect with staff, provide product education, and support with merchandising Source new, aligned retailers and partners in your region to grow Blume’s presence Provide post-event reports on sales, samples, conversion, and community feedback

Qualifications:

1-2+ years experience in a marketing, customer support or relevant role Knowledge of Shopify, Excel, Google Suites, Meta Business Suite and top social media platforms is preferred Familiar with CX tech, metrics, and best practices for DTC brands is preferred Passion for community-building and all things health, wellness, and small business Self-motivated learner and quick thinker Must own a car and have a driver's license to attend events. Must be able to carry boxes up to 20 lbs for event set up. Occasional flexible hours – this role will do the majority of their work during typical business hours but will require evening, weekend and/or holiday coverage as needed.
