Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and driven Mid-Rise Superintendent to join their team. Our client is reputable throughout Ontario and Alberta.
Description
- Oversee the entire construction process of the mid-rise development, from pre-construction to completion, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards and project timelines.
- Manage and supervise the construction of mid-rise projects
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Oversee on-site activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and quality on-site.
- Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare progress reports, update project schedules, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Proactively resolve conflicts, solve problems, and make decisions to keep projects on track.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in mid-rise construction projects, with a strong track record of successful project completions.
- In-depth knowledge of high-rise construction techniques, building codes, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams to achieve project goals.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to handle unforeseen challenges effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a proactive approach to ensuring a safe working environment for all construction personnel.
- A relevant diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset
