About the role
As part of the Application Development team, this position is responsible for designing, creating, maintaining, debugging and testing assigned programming duties. Working under the general supervision of the Senior Programmer Analyst, the programmer analyst provides first point of contact with application users and should be able to resolve most requests; requests that cannot be resolved will be escalated. Support will be provided through the corporate ticket system, email, telephone and in person.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, create and maintain the in-house developed applications as assigned.
- Responsible for testing new code.
- Provide end user support of the in-house developed applications.
- Document all support activities in the Help Desk support application.
- Assist with implementation of business requirements.
- Provide guidance to other programmers in the development team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in programming.
- Degree or certificate in programming.
- Proficient in multiple programming languages including VB, C# and JavaScript
- Experience with .Net and Entity framework
- Experience with SQL Databases and SSRS
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients
