Job Description

Freedom Mobile is currently hiring a Territory Sales Representative to join our sales team in York Region, Ontario. Reporting to the Manager, Regional Field Sales, the primary focus of the Territory Sales Representative role is to ensure they are continually developing and building lasting relationships with our National Retail Partners. The chosen candidates will be responsible for leading and providing support to a variety of stores and team members within our National Retail environment inclusive of all sales targets, territory management, training along with being a brand ambassador.

A typical day

  • Most of your days will be spent in store visiting our National Retail Partner locations, driving sales productivity and market share growth through your assigned region.
  • You will spend time building relationships with the National Retail Store teams, attending meetings with sales reps, store managers and District Managers to drive results and build a solid foundation between Freedom and our Partners.
  • You will be responsible for facilitating strategy/best practice sales presentations to sales reps in a classroom setting.
  • The remainder of your time will be spent doing a variety of tasks including gap management (understanding Territory opportunities) and weekly planning activities.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent education in a business field with minimum 3-5 years sales leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of working on various tasks / projects simultaneously while ensuring your team is engaged and supported.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate them into strategy for our sales teams.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, more specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail oriented individual with ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, along with the ability to facilitate sales presentations.
  • Ability to develop successful business relationships with peers in MDU regional teams and cross functional departments.
  • Customer service orientation, teamwork and collaboration, resourcefulness and initiative.

  • Is travel required? Yes (80% Travel)
