Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
A part-time academic is required to teach ASSC 3150.03: Intercultural
Communication 1, in the 2025/26 Winter term (January to April 2026, In-Person delivery), currently scheduled for Wednesdays 0835-1125. The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, and evaluation. This position reports to the Associate Dean of Academic in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in an appropriate field, plus previous university teaching experience. Lived cultural experience and evidence of intercultural sensitivity, familiarity with current research in intercultural communication preferred.
Salary Range/Pay Rate
As per CUPE Collective Agreement

All offers of employment as a part-time academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
