Compensation And Benefits
- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $21.00 to $22.80+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary Copper Mountain is seeking to hire an Employee Housing Maintenance Technician and Housekeeper. The right applicant is professional with excellent attention to detail that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while supporting and maintaining the daily operation of the Employee Housing Facilities. Responsibilities for the position include:
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment while laundering linens, terry, and uniforms; manages the upkeep of the commercial laundry space.
- Cleans and sets residential and short-term lodging units for residents and guests based on departure/arrival schedules.
- Performs custodial work in common areas fundamental to the daily operation of the facility as needed. Common areas may include lobby, stairwells, elevators, bathrooms, garage, communal kitchens, building entrances, and patio/courtyard.
- Maintains the buildings with daily maintenance and special projects.
- Audits and maintains records of room statuses using Rent Manager and Microsoft Office products.
- Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information such as housing information and other personal material.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Cleans and maintains Employee Housing Facilities:
- Vacuum areas (both small & large) with commercial and residential vacuums.
- Empty trash cans, ashtrays, and pick up litter.
- Carpet cleaning with use of spot cleaner/and or commercial carpet cleaner.
- Window washing (both small and large).
- Clean and maintain (re-supply) public restrooms.
- Assists Resident Advisors in the cleaning and upkeep of the communal kitchens; completes deep cleans as needed.
- Properly use and maintain all equipment.
- Recognize and address maintenance and mechanical problems within building and/or equipment.
- Ensure proper use of company facilities, vehicles, keys, supplies, and equipment.
- Adhere to work safety rules and regulations. Recognize hazards.
- Audits and replaces light bulbs as needed.
- Shovel snow and chip ice/ice melt.
Maintains a Clean And Organized Work Environment While Laundering Linens, Terry, And Uniforms; Manages The Upkeep Of The Commercial Laundry Space
- Prepares linen and uniforms for washing by sorting into designated groups in order to facilitate loading the machines.
- Screens and performs necessary spotting in order to remove stains while waterproofing as appropriate.
- Loads 100lb washers with predetermined amounts of linen.
- Puts in appropriate codes on machines to begin wash cycle.
- Unloads dryers when cycle is complete. Performs folding and organization of linens and uniforms.
- Performs basic maintenance on equipment, monitors solvent levels, and maintains a clean and safe workplace.
- Follows all safety practices and procedures outlined by the department manuals.
Audits and cleans resident rooms for move ins and move outs:
- Completes room inspections and reports issues to the Housing Office as needed.
- Prepares rooms for move in by cleaning, organizing, and setting up rooms.
- Ensures all work areas are secure when not in use and at the end of every shift to prevent loss.
Performs General Maintenance Tasks
- Perform general maintenance; minor plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, and painting.
- Maintain equipment and tools as needed.
- Conduct regularly scheduled inspections of equipment and mechanical systems on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of daily tasks including; repairs, room audits, preventative maintenance, check lists, property inspections, project punch lists, and action items for the building.
- Document and submit orders for any supplies, materials, parts, equipment, or external vendor services required for the building.
- Maintain complete records for parts billing, labor billing, time cards, and work orders.
- Follow established emergency protocols and assist as directed (e.g. power outages, fire alarms, building evacuations)
- Work on projects as the need arises, special events and any other duties as needed.
Cleans And Sets Temporary Rooms
- Cleans and resets temporary rooms according to daily arrival/departure allocations.
- Reports any maintenance or other issues promptly.
- Recovers keys or personal items left in rooms and turns over to office staff.
- At all times, maintains the highest level of customer service in all interactions with guests, residents, and coworkers.
- Follows SOP and training to effectively dispose of materials, including recycling and proper disposal of items requiring special handling (eg paint, batteries, light bulbs, furniture, etc.)

- Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information (e.g. wage data, medical information, personnel files, EEO information), even when pressured to reveal it; including but not limited to these examples:
