About the role

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our amazing team working in a Transitional Care Unit within the Toronto area. We’re ready when you are!

You will provide care according to the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for residents. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8 or 12hour shift.

Jo****b Qualifications

Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.

  • Baccalaureate Degree or Diploma in Nursing

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing with the College of Nurse of Ontario

  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate

  • Minimum of 300 hours of experience in a long term care, or medical-surgical, or transitional care setting within the past two years

  • Experience in a Transitional Care Unit is preferred

  • Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, COVID-19

  • Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years

  • Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
