About the Role

We are currently looking for an International Reproduction Specialist to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Senior Director International Wholesale Markets, this role will be responsible for developing, growing, and securing business through reproductive consulting with identified and prioritized large, progressive global key account dairies. This role requires a frequent presence at the Guelph office. This posting is for a new role.

This position offers a minimum starting salary of $120,000, with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.

What You Will Do:

  • Technical Reproductive Training & Consulting
  • Implement reproduction strategies using KPIs, SOPs, and farm data.
  • Provide technical guidance and develop KPIs for consistent implementation.
  • Develop and modify on-farm reproductive plans and ensure execution.
  • Deliver on-farm and remote reproductive consulting and training to key accounts and global markets.
  • Conduct farm audits, analyze reproduction programs, and recommend improvements.
  • Train on embryo implantation, protocols, and recipient herd management.
  • Demonstrate value and demonstrate the yearly progress being made with clients.
  • Reproduction Protocol & KPI Development
  • Coach global staff on reproduction principles and KPI interpretation.
  • Create and maintain standardized reproductive KPIs for global use.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for reproduction and insemination.
  • Customize breeding protocols for client needs and integrate global best practices.
  • Commercial Strategy Support
  • Align with international sales on priorities.
  • Review reproduction marketing materials for technical accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Boviteq for integrated embryo-related support.
  • Host global training seminars and technical sessions.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • University degree in Business, Agri-Business, Agriculture, or Veterinary Science.
  • 3–5 years of experience with large, progressive dairy operations and strong expertise in bovine reproduction (both practical and theoretical).
  • Proven ability to analyze reproduction data, interpret KPIs, and implement strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with artificial insemination and embryo transfer protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, results-focused mindset, and ability to work independently.
  • Commercial or customer-facing experience is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and deliver training (on-farm and virtual).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coach global staff on reproduction principles.
