The Direct Sales Manager is responsible for sales in the assigned regional territory. The individual in this position is responsible for overall sales in the designated region including prospecting, lead generation, customer qualification and closing sales.
Direct Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Responsible for the machine and TruServices sales in the designated region in Ontario, Canada
- Identify potential customers
- Prospect, qualify and present Machine Tool and TruServices products to potential customers
- Create, monitor and compile sales pipeline
- Produce and maintain market information relevant to territory
- Attending trade shows and other industry related events
- Prepare and negotiate proposals to finalize sales
- Building positive relationship with customers
- Deliver excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
- Staying up to date on latest technologies and industry trends
Experience & Education
- At least five years experience in Sales, Marketing or related business required.
- Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel a must.
- Being proficient in Sales techniques and related computer systems (MS Office etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Sales or Engineering related area or higher or equivalent work experience.
