Your tasks
As an Installation Team Lead, you will oversee daily operations on ski lift installation sites, primarily in mountain environments across Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes). You will be responsible for coordinating the work of the installation crew, ensuring safety, work quality, and schedule compliance. You will act as the main point of contact between field teams, the supervisor, partners, and internal departments.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily site activities.
- Assign tasks and support the installation crew.
- Actively participate in installation work.
- Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor compliance with schedules, budgets, and procedures.
- Coordinate subcontractors as required.
- Track and report daily work progress.
- Approve team hours in accordance with internal procedures.
- Strictly enforce health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, warehouse, and service departments.
Your profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a team lead, foreman, or site supervisor, including at least 1 year outside of decree.
- Field experience on mechanical or industrial construction sites.
- Experience managing teams in remote or demanding environments.
- ASP Construction certification (mandatory).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Knowledge of civil works (foundations, formwork, concrete).
- Strong leadership, judgment, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors, sometimes in challenging conditions.
- Availability for extended travel assignments.
- Valid driver’s license; passport is an asset.
- Availability to travel for several consecutive weeks.
- Willingness to work extended hours (10 hours/day, 6 days/week depending on projects).
- Ability to live in shared accommodations for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within North America.
- Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis (asset).
