About the Position
Recreation Services is seeking an individual to assist the Manager of Athletics and Recreation Services in the day-to-day operations of the Physical Education Building, including the equipment room and assisting with Athletics. This is a front-line position that provides service to all users, as well as the staff that work in the Physical Education Building.
Position Details
Responsibilities include proper handling and control of all monies received through the equipment room, sales of merchandise, checking patrons in and out, selling and renewing memberships, monitoring usage of racquetball and squash courts, providing information, assisting user groups with proper set-up of equipment, and providing laundry service. Other projects will be assigned as required.
In this role, assistants are able to provide varied service within a customer-focused team environment for all our valued internal/external customers. This position will also support Athletics and sporting events held in the building.
Shifts will be Monday to Friday from 3:30-10:30pm. Some flexibility may be considered.
Required Qualifications

Current CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Related work experience with customer service and computer experience is an asset.
Salary
AUPE Class Level 2 Step 1 $17.34/hr
