About the role

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Confined spaces. Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Warehouse. Tasks: Identify, label and catalogue items received. Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use. Maintain records on inventory control system. Prepare and track work orders. Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies. Process incoming requisitions. Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials. Ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment. Store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area. Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software. MS Office. Internet. Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Parts specialization: Electronic. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
