About the role
Bemac Collision Group has an immediate position for a full-time parts coordinator. The Parts Coordinator ensures the efficient flow of parts throughout the repair process. You’ll support our technicians and estimators by assisting with orders, tracking inventory, verifying compatibility, and posting records accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Parts & Inventory Management
- Assist with ordering parts, sublet items, and materials as needed.
- Track back-ordered parts and follow up regularly with suppliers.
- Receive, inspect, and document parts deliveries.
- Prepare and organize parts in advance for each repair job.
- Physically mirror match parts received with the parts listed on the estimate.
- Keep the parts area clean, organized, and properly labeled.
- Return unnecessary parts for credit and document upon repair completion.
System Accuracy & Price Management
- Identify and correct price discrepancies in estimating systems (Mitchell, Audatex).
- Update and sync part prices in Bodyshopconnect.
- Scan and attach invoices to repair files.
- Ensure repair cost accuracy with the estimators and CSRs.
Returns & Credits
- Post all parts invoices and credits in Bodyshopconnect.
- Return incorrect, unused, or defective parts promptly.
- Follow up on all pending credits for parts and labour.
Production Support
- Pull parts ahead of scheduled repairs.
- Assist with supplement preparation (photos, notes, additional orders).
- Communicate with technicians to confirm part needs.
Team Collaboration & Shop Support
- Work closely with estimators and production staff.
- Attend daily production meetings.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
- Help maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
- Perform duties safely and responsibly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1–2 years in a parts-related or automotive role.
- High school diploma required; vocational training preferred.
- Familiarity with Mitchell, Audatex, and Bodyshopconnect is an asset.
- Experience entering and linking parts in a management system is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently.
- Highly organized and team-oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
