About the role
Description
We are seeking a motivated Scientist to join our growing HDX-MS team. The successful candidate will design, execute, and interpret HDX-MS experiments to support antibody epitope mapping and protein-protein interactions studies. This hands-on laboratory position requires knowledge of protein biochemistry, mass spectrometry, and data analysis.
Rapid Novor seeks to elevate human health by decoding immunity. The patented technology we’ve developed for sequencing and characterizing proteins using mass spectrometry has already made an extraordinary impact on antibody discovery and development. With a team of 50+ and 11000 successful projects under our belt, Rapid Novor has a strong reputation for service excellence. Our clients routinely use our services in therapeutic discovery, IVD development, basic research, controls and assay development. Our scope of services includes a full suite of R&D programs including antibody discovery, epitope mapping, kinetic analysis, and glycan profiling.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team and independently to process customers’ and internal HDX-MS projects.

- Operate and maintain Waters MS systems with Trajan/LEAP automation modules.
- Process and interpret data using Waters DynamX, PLGS, and complementary analytical tools.
- Maintain accurate experimental records and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline. MSc with extensive HDX-MS experience may also be considered.
- Strong background in protein chemistry, LC-MS/MS, and peptide mapping.
- Hands-on experience with Waters or comparable MS systems is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with automation, peptide digestion workflows, and deuterium data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and clearly explain technology to different audiences, through writing and presentations.
- Excited about an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment.
