The Relief Receptionist is responsible for completing reception and administrative duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of Elm Centre Administrative Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers telephone, email and in-person inquiries regarding YWCA Toronto; directs calls to the appropriate staff or program;
- Greets all visitors and re-directs them accordingly;
- Presents a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions;
- Ensures that the appearance of the reception area is welcoming;
- Receives and distributes all incoming supplies and other deliveries for the Elm Centre Administrative Office;
- Any other duties/special projects as assigned by the Office Co-ordinator or Manager of Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of high school, including technical or commercial training in relevant fields directly related to the job (Cases for Equivalency will be considered);
-
1-3 years directly related work experience;
-
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
-
Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization/general public;
-
Exceptional customer services and interpersonal skills ability to exercise good judgment in handling customer inquiries;
-
Excellent organizational skills and administrative abilities;
-
Ability to deliver culturally sensitive service in a multicultural environment;
-
Ability to maintain a positive approach and a professional manner at all times;
-
Knowledge of a second language an asset.
