About the role

Important: This is a posting in anticipation of the launch of the weekend shift scheduled for October 2023. Please note that the weekend shift launch may be ahead of time or postponed if required.

Work Schedule Thirty-two (32) Hours/week, Based On

  • Saturday and Sunday (12 hours/day): from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • 1 day of 8 hours during the week (to be determined according to needs)

There are 13 positions available in total in the following departments:

  • 10 blending operators ( 4 mobile and 6 high shear)
  • 1 compression operator
  • 2 manufacturing clerks

Blending Summary of the responsibilities: The Blending Operator transforms raw materials as per established procedures, with specialized equipment, in various drugs in bulk format. He prepares suspensions/solutions used for blending mixtures for the manufacture of tablets or caspules.

Compression The Compression Operator transforms raw materials as per established procedures, with specialized equipment, in various drugs in bulk format. He proceeds to the the compression of powders in order to transform them into tablets.

Manufacturing Clerk As the Manufacturing clerk, you will act as a support for manufacturing operations in order to optimize set-up times as well as the availability of equipment and rooms. As part of your tasks, you will assemble and disassemble the equipment during the cleaning process according to the work procedures in place as well as clean equipment, rooms, furniture, accessories/tools, for all the areas for GMP manufacturing, formulation laboratory and tooling room.

Qualification

  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Ability to move heavy and bulky equipment in tight spaces in a safe manner with the help of colleagues
  • Ability to handle weights up to 80 kg
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Autonomous and able to work in a team
  • Ability to perform work requiring physical skills
  • Strong sense of work organization
  • Accountability
  • Basic computer skills
