In this role, you will sponsor and oversee projects required for the Liquids Pipelines Facilities Integrity Storage Programs. You will focus on Facilities Integrity Storage projects (Aboveground Storage Tanks - AST, Small Tanks - ST, Pressure Vessels - PV, Underground Storage Caverns - USC).

What You Will Do:

  • Develop project business cases to ensure assets are fit for service, aligned with regulatory requirements, and risks are managed to acceptable business targets.
  • Drive performance, strategy, continuous improvement, and opportunities from the Tanks to Bottoms (T2B) initiative to drive $500M in transformational change on Tank API-653 projects.
  • Lead the required project teams to meet program objectives. Develop effective communications and reports for key partners.
  • The role involves both technical and commercial analysis, with the unique ability to dive into technical scope review with industry-leading domain experts as well as optimization at a program level through evaluating business needs with varying commercial partners.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA is required.
  • 7 or more years of experience in technical and project management experience in a pipeline or related industry.
  • Exposure to engineering, operating, technical, and/or other multi-functional experiences in the petro-chemical industry.
  • Functional understanding of pipeline facility construction and operations. Integrity background is an asset but not required.
  • Proven ability to independently lead or influence multi-disciplinary teams tasked with resolving technical and business challenges.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment where effective prioritization of tasks is key.
  • An effective communicator, proficient in verbal and written communication to a variety of audiences including peers, management, and external partners. The ability to facilitate, and collaborate with internal partners.

Working Conditions:

  • Office based, with up to 10% travel in Canada and the US. Must have a valid passport to travel and work in the US.
