Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a dynamic and collaborative field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and results-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of technical publications and training activities across multiple projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, suppliers, project management), oversee a multidisciplinary team, and ensure deliverables meet quality and financial objectives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of supervising up to three projects simultaneously while managing a team of up to 10 people, but also coordinating with stakeholders to meet delivery milestones.
We’ll look to you for:
- Monitoring technical publications and training activities for up to 1-3 projects simultaneously
- Supervising the work of a multidisciplinary team, including planning, coordination, and staff evaluations
- Communicating regularly with key stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, and project management
- Assessing change requests and ensuring the quality of deliverables
- Reporting budgets to Project Managers and Services Managers
- Analyzing customer requirements and preparing bids (hours and cost)
- Managing training-related activities, including planning, logistics, and travel coordination
- Ensuring delivery milestones are met to achieve financial success for projects averaging $10 million
- Facilitating staff development, overseeing training, and managing succession plans
- Meeting, discussing, and negotiating with stakeholders to align customer expectations and Alstom objectives

- Bachelor’s degree or DEC in engineering, project management, or related experience
- Relevant experience managing shared employees
- Strong planning knowledge and organizational skills
- Negotiating skills with internal departments and customers
- Experience in the transportation industry (considered an asset)
- Proficiency in analyzing and preparing bids and documentation
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
