About the role

Who you are

  • We're looking for a Staff Product Manager, Invoicing who brings deep product expertise, strong strategic instincts, and the ability to lead through influence across a complex, multi-team domain
  • This is a role for someone who sees around corners, frames the right problems before others do, and brings others along with clarity and conviction
  • Extensive product management experience, with a proven track record of owning and evolving complex, high-usage product areas with significant business accountability
  • Experience operating at a staff or principal level—defining strategy across multiple teams or product areas, influencing without authority, and shaping org-wide product direction
  • Deep familiarity with customer-facing workflow products in SaaS or platform businesses, ideally in billing, invoicing, payments, or other operational domains
  • Exceptional product sense and strategic rigor. You operate well ahead of the team, see structural patterns others miss, and consistently make better bets than most
  • The ability to connect deep customer insight to long-term business strategy and communicate that clearly to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Strong leadership and influence skills, with demonstrated experience aligning multiple teams and senior stakeholders around a shared direction
  • A high bar for quality, ownership, and outcomes—combined with the judgment to know when to go deep and when to zoom out
  • Experience in fintech, payments, billing, invoicing, or other financial workflows
  • Experience in vertical SaaS or serving small businesses

What the job involves

  • We're looking for a Staff Product Manager, Invoicing to set the long-term strategy for how small businesses send invoices, reduce outstanding balances, and get paid faster
  • This is a high-impact, highly senior individual contributor role at the intersection of product leadership and deep domain expertise
  • You'll define the vision for Jobber's invoicing and collections experience, align cross-functional partners around multi-year bets, and raise the product craft of the teams you work alongside
  • In this role, you'll define the strategy and long-term direction for one of the most important parts of Jobber's financial workflow: invoicing
  • You'll look across the full customer journey—from how Pros create and send invoices, to how they follow up on outstanding balances, reduce delays, and build better habits around how they get paid—and identify the structural bets that will drive durable impact at scale
  • You'll be expected to operate with high autonomy, shape the thinking of other PMs and leaders, and connect Jobber's invoicing strategy to the broader fintech and business roadmap
  • Define and own the long-term vision and strategy for Jobber's invoicing and collections experience, aligning it with Jobber's broader fintech and business goals
  • Identify the highest-leverage structural opportunities across the invoicing and collections workflow, from invoice creation and delivery through follow-up, tracking, and payment collection
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across multiple product teams, driving shared understanding of priorities, trade-offs, and sequencing across a complex domain
  • Elevate product thinking across the team—shaping how other PMs frame problems, evaluate options, and make decisions in the invoicing and get-paid space
  • Partner deeply with Design, Engineering, Data, Risk, Payments Operations, Sales, and GTM to move from strategy to execution on high-impact initiatives
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to form deep conviction about where the biggest opportunities lie and what success looks like
  • Balance near-term delivery with long-term strategic bets, ensuring Jobber is building toward a durable competitive advantage in invoicing and collections
