About the role
Job Summary:
The Territory Manager maximizes WN Pharmaceutical sales by building positive business relationships, selling-in of WN Pharmaceutical products (Webber Naturals, Sesame Street, Holista, and PGX), creating consumer demand and providing exemplary customer service in the Drug, Food and Mass markets, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven core values such as Sustainability (people, planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales
- Achieve and exceed sales forecasts for all WN Pharmaceutical products
- Analyze trends in the business, customer and competitive environment to identify sales opportunities, threats and issues. Develop marketing plans to fully capitalize on the opportunities and/or minimize the threats
- Actively divide the customer base into defined customer categories based on various criteria
- Develop coverage and call plans to attain reach and frequency targets for each customer category
- Develop and nurture positive business relationships with customers and their associated staff
- Sell front store and dispensary promotions to achieve and maintain optimal distribution and stock levels as determined by listing and promotional objectives
- Achieve optimal shelf space, positioning, and inventory levels
- Stimulate resale of products to end users through effective sales promotion and merchandising activity
- Use pre-call and post-call learnings to fully exploit face-to-face selling time
- Travel to customer locations for meetings as needed
Customers
- Continuously seek to discover and understand the needs of the customer; keep customers current on WN products, policies, etc.
- Promote high levels of customer satisfaction with WN Pharmaceuticals
- Check regularly for outdated and damaged merchandise and make adjustments in accordance to policy
- Maintain detailed and accurate territory and customer lists within WN database
- On an ongoing basis, evaluate and profile customers based on pertinent profiling information
- Be easily accessible to customers
Teamwork and Communication
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across WN to ensure maximum business results and customer service satisfaction
- Provide input to ensure that marketing programs, visual aids, promotional items, etc, are the most effective possible for building the business and maintaining high levels of customer service
- Keep self and stakeholders informed of issues, opportunities, action plans, etc.
Sales and Service Administration
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time
- Record pertinent information from sales and service calls
- Complete expense reports and other administrative reports
- Comply with company guidelines concerning the dispensing and storage of sample/car stock
- Maintain company property in excellent working order
- Other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
Technical
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in sales
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Working knowledge of market track information such as Nielsen
- Valid driver’s license and passport, as some overnight and out-of-country travel may be required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Effective time management and follow-through skills
- Strong self-leadership and team leadership skills
- Willing and able to work weekends and evenings as required
