About the role

Position Summary... The Fashion Department Manager plays a key leadership role in bringing the fashion departments to life each day. By leading and supporting fashion associates, this role drives strong execution across merchandising, modular completion, price changes, and inventory accuracy, while ensuring a clean, safe, and inspiring sales floor and backroom. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for teamwork, the Fashion Department Manager plans and prioritizes work based on operational needs and takes the lead in delivering impactful seasonal guide sets and features that elevate the customer shopping experience. What you'll do... WHAT YOU'LL DO Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience Provides friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed. Support Daily Fashion Operations and Coverage Assigns associates to apparel and footwear areas in partnership with the salaried manager to support coverage, workload priorities, and customer needs. Merchandising, Modular, and Pricing Execution Ensures completion of modulars and merchandising of non-modular and non-basic items across fashion and shoes. Completes price changes, resolves PI exceptions, and ensures accurate signage is in place. Stocking, Zoning, and Feature Setup Processes, stocks, and zones modular merchandise and sets features to maintain a full, organized, and customer-ready sales floor. Fixtures, Supplies, and Presentation Standards Ensures correct fixtures and supplies are used and replaced as needed, and that proper signage holders are in place according to modular requirements. Seasonal Merchandising Support Replenishes and merchandises seasonal merchandise in a timely manner to support promotions and seasonal transitions. Associate Training and Development Provides training, coaching, and ongoing feedback to associates to support performance, confidence, and engagement. Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweeps, and ensuring fixtures are secure. Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) - Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service. POTENTIAL CHALLENGES IN THIS ROLE High Task Volume in a Fast-Paced Environment - Manages overnight hours effectively and planning accordingly to stay energized and focused. - Effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift. - Handles a fast-paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time. Physical Demands - Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs. - Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
