Trouw Nutrition is on the lookout for a Warehouse Worker in our Otterburne, MB location. This position focuses on the use of our internal system M3, warehouse operations and bagging duties while also supporting various roles within the production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading trucks via Forklift and Scanning products with scanner, Inventory counting & control
  • Perform various tasks, including receiving and shipping ingredients and finished feeds and maintain documentation for Food Safety and adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards
  • Conduct quality checks and perform physical and NIR testing on ingredients and finished products.

M3 Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Be available to all Super Users to troubleshoot on system / inventory process issues related to Unite/M3 business related.
  • Ensure daily routine inventory analysis is completed - PMS100, PMS050, PMS060, PMS070. MO reporting checks and verification
  • Set-up and execution of monthly stock counts (MMS300) Including the verification that all stock counts are fully updated.
  • Ensure all deliveries have adjusted/correct departure dates. (OTIF KPI).
  • Monitor monthly stock gains/losses
  • Identify and collaboratively address high impact areas for stock variance to find root cause and provide recommendations to resolve.
  • Ensure stock reporting is done correctly and accurately for all sites.

Skills And Expertise Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a grain facility, mill, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Class 5 driver’s license is an asset.
  • Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills with attention to detail.

  • Full-time position with shift work rotation and overtime as required.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions, including loud sounds and dust.
  • Willingness to learn and be coached.

The Skilled Operator supports with and executes operational activities/processes, in accordance with established specifications and (quality, safety and environment) guidelines, to achieve the production / operational targets for the assigned area.

The Skilled Operator is the “basic” level of operator role, performing basic operational processes in production. He / she operates equipment and machinery that requires a certain level of proficiency, acquired through training on the job and specialized training.

Knowledge of the use of all materials, equipment and tools is required to perform, and typically this takes time and effort to gain the experience and skills.

The activities are characterized by a large portion of (semi) routine work, which can be performed based on training, experience and (when routine does not suffice) the availability of assistance by Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisor / Team Leader or others.
