Position: We are currently looking to hire an Assistant Metal Shop Manager to join our growing team. Projects vary from residential multifamily to commercial/ industrial work. Scope of work includes architectural facades and metal roofing systems. Hours to be 10+ a day and weekends when needed.
Our Ideal candidate will be a reliable and responsible person who can work efficiently in a team atmosphere, using their knowledge and skills to achieve the task at hand. A safe professional mentality and solid work ethic are important to our company culture. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in a foreman or manager role for shop/sheet metal.
Key responsibilities: Sheet Metal Layouts (Square to rounds, Litre heads) Problem Solving CNC Operation and Maintenance Brake and Shear Operation and Maintenance
Required for applicants: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman or Manager for a shop/sheet metal. Knowledge of Panelbuilder/AutoCad Excel Knowledge Organizational Skills Communication LSE Knowledge Of Cap Flashing and Cladding Systems is beneficial

Established in 2007, a small crew of four people completed the day to day residential projects in Calgary. In 2010 the commercial flat roofing division was developed, and after much success, we started the waterproofing division in 2013. As the company continued to grow, United branched out even further and established an office in Edmonton and achieved safety COR recognition in 2014. Three years later in 2016 we became members of a select group of roofing contractors in the Alberta Roofing Contractor Association, and our building envelope division was formed.
