THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
As a Business Planner, you’ll be the central commercial link between customers, sales, and supply chain operations. By turning demand signals into accurate forecasts, you’ll help the business make proactive, data-driven decisions, reduce fragmentation, and give leadership the visibility needed to balance customer needs with operational capacity.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Act as the main planning contact for OEM customers, providing demand updates and coordinating forecasts.
- Develop forecasting tools and models that translate customer demand into clear capacity plans.
- Partner with Customer Experience and supply planners to align forecasts with actual orders and production.
- Maintain the Master Summaries to ensure accurate, consistent commercial data.
- Provide forecast inputs and reporting for commercial updates and executive presentations.
- Deliver insights on sales trends, forecast accuracy, and customer activity.
- Serve as the bridge between sales and operations, ensuring commercial needs are translated into actionable plans.
- Keep planning data centralized and accessible for cross-functional teams.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, or a related field; or a post-secondary diploma in Business, Materials & Operations Management, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, commercial operations, supply chain coordination, or strategic sales support.
- Proficiency in Excel, data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau), and ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle).
ADDITIONAL STRENGTHS:
- Experience with digital planning tools and forecasting model development.
- Background in medical device manufacturing or hardware-based product businesses (preferred).
- Strong communicator, able to present clearly to customers, peers, and leadership.
- Builds effective relationships across internal teams and external customer contacts.
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in execution.
- Resilient and adaptable when facing ambiguity, shifting needs, or changing priorities.
- Comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures (Europe, North America, Asia).
