###About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organizedAccounts Payable Clerkto join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
You will play a key role in supporting our finance team by ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
###What You'll Do
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
- Prepare and process weekly cheque runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
###What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in construction or a related industry (asset, but not required)
